Come make good on your New Year’s resolution to get moving and join our new 5K training group. This seven-week training group starting on Monday, January 4th and will focus on building endurance, strength and speed to get you a bright, shiny new PR at the El Paso Marathon 5k on February 21st. Don’t forget your headlamps and safety lights as we will be training in the dark. Limited to the first 20 runners.
Minimum requirement: Must be able to run 2 miles non-stopRunning Goals

Free Marathon Running Series Running Form and Recovery Techniques
•       What is proper running form? How important is arm swing? Am I heel striking? Does it matter? Learn about running efficiency and form and get your form evaluated. Come dressed to run if you want your form evaluated.
•       What is a foam roller? Should I use a massage stick? Do I stretch before or after running? Why am I so sore after my long runs? Come learn about tools to help you recover and how to optimally recover to be consistent in your training.
•       Open discussion: There will be time for questions and answers so bring your questions and concerns regarding training for a marathon / half marathon.
