Up and Running

To make it fun and to demonstrate how easy it is to wear your SPIbelt, we will have four stations set up at the store with small containers (filled with random awards in them).

The first 25 people to show up and run with a demo SPIbelt will be able to use the awards at the conclusion of the run. Each container will have a note, and some will be a dollar amount of credits to the store, some will be to pull something out of a grab bag, and some will be gift cards to local retailers. You can run with the containers, so you can see how awesome SPIbelts are.

•       What is proper running form? How important is arm swing? Am I heel striking? Does it matter? Learn about running efficiency and form and get your form evaluated. Come dressed to run if you want your form evaluated.
•       What is a foam roller? Should I use a massage stick? Do I stretch before or after running? Why am I so sore after my long runs? Come learn about tools to help you recover and how to optimally recover to be consistent in your training.
•       Open discussion: There will be time for questions and answers so bring your questions and concerns regarding training for a marathon / half marathon.
