Have you come into the store and looked up at the ceiling?  Now you know what we do with our old race shirts.  If you have a cool or really interesting shirt and you want to donate it to the store, please feel free to drop it off.  To keep the odors to a minimum, would you please wash the shirt before dropping it off to us.

Running Shoes for Charity

During the first year that the store was open, the store helped Octavio Gildo in a quest to supply used running shoes to his hometown in Mexico with over 100 pairs of shoes! 

Up and Running is an official drop location for Soles4Souls.

Soles4Souls has a simple mission: To impact as many lives as possible with the gift of shoes.

Soles4Souls facilitates the donations of new and used shoes, which are used to aid the hurting worldwide.   They coordinated relief efforts for the Asian Tsunami and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Soles4Souls is working “around the corner and around the world” to make a difference with the gift of shoes. They are presently working in over 35 states and 50 countries.

Please drop off your used shoes at the store so that they can make a difference.  Thanks to the generous contribution of customers one large box of shoes has already been shipped!

Books

Not only does the store have books for  sale - there is a small but growing library of books relative to running that may be checked out.  If you have any books that you would like to donate to the library they would be greatly appreciated!
